Placement of Alpha Dent Active Bio Implants in a Lower Jaw

The patient had had bone augmentation before, so the doctor chose a triangular Active Bio implant, which is perfect for the clinical case by producing maximum anti-rotation effect.

Implantation plan:

  1. Pilot drilling. A drill ∅ 2.0, a stopper 11.5 mm.
  2. A burr ∅ 3.0.
  3. A conical drill 3.45.
  4. The implant in the distal field is 4.2, the implant in the mesial field is 3.75; the final burr is ∅3.9; the compact plate is processed with a two-stage expander. The first stage is ∅3.75 (for the mesial implant), the second one is ∅4.2 (for the distal implant).
  5. Implant placement.
  6. Perfect initial stability of the distal and mesial implants, the torque wrench is set at 40 and 45 Nm respectively.
  7. The distal implant is covered with collagen membrane at the top.
